Dillon has been showing his little sister’s bitch, Zona, in Juniors, since Kassi is too young for Juniors yet.

Today his picture came in the mail and his certificate from AKC also came in the mail, so I had one happy 10 year old…

Juniors Brags - May 2008

• Coral Knight:
  "It was not that hard."Coral Knight & “TR” (CH BD One Awesome Tayl Ryder CD, RE, NA, NAJ) made the Tests look too easy. The 14year old Junior from Bushnell, Florida with her 10+ year old dog, earned 2 of their Herding Test legs for their "HT" title and then 1 of their Pre-Trial test legs at the Herding Trials/Tests held by the Mid-Florida ACD Fanciers and Mid-Florida Shetland Sheepdog Clubs in St Cloud, Florida on April 12th & 13th. The duo also earned lots of great compliments from the judges and the spectators. This proves that a lot of practice can pay off along with the direction of the "Team’s TRORAL" trainers of Cappy Pruett and Deb Mintzer. Tr & Coral are looking forward to the ACDCA Nationals in Pennsylvania and plan a long week of activities which will include Showmanship, Agility, Rally and Herding. This summer the Team will look forward to working on their Rally RAE title and in Agility Preferred.
• Jonathan Freeborn:
  Jonathan took 2nd place in Novice Intermediate Junior Showmanship on Saturday, March 29th, and then took BOB and 1st Place Novice Intermediate on Sunday, March 30th same day, with “Trooper”, CH Scrubby Creeks Statesman, in Pittsburgh, PA.
• Anna Calkins:
  Anna showed CH Corral West Zeek Monster to a Group 1 on April 4th in Wichita, Kansas, and a Group 4 on April 13th in Brighton, CO.  Anna also garnered 2 Best Junior Handler wins, one on March 8th in Garden City, KS and a second one on May 3rd in South Jordan, Utah!   
• Brianna Thompkins:
  Brianna won for the third time in Novice Senior Junior Showmanship on March 1st.  She is now eligible to move up to Open Senior.  Next, Brianna went to Louisville, KY March 16th and won a 3pt major and an Award of Merit with Silverdust Keep A Secret. 
• Megan Miller:
  Megan won American-Bred Bitches both days in Claremore, OK the weekend of March 29th & 30th and did it again on April 13th in Grove, OK with Bad Ace Look N’ For Limousins.  Megan took 2nd in Novice Senior Junior Showmanship at Claremore, OK on March 29th and won the Novice Senior class on April 12th & 13th at Grove, OK as well.
• Sonny Blevins:
  Sonny took a 2nd place in Intermediate Junior Showmanship in Carson City, NV at the 4 Paws 4H Dog Club Fun Match.  Minka, UKC CH Austlyn’s BRB Ranchy Lil Minx, took Best of Breed and then a Group 2.
• Colston Couch:
  Colston showed Hank, CH Buzzards Maximus Red to four, back-to-back, Group placements, earning a Group 3 and two Group 4s April 11th -13th at Grove, OK, then Group 2 at the April 26th Grove show.  He put his first performance title, ever, on his Bred-By girl CH Buzzards Jewel Of A Josie, finishing her Rally Novice title and earning a 2nd place on April 11th at Grove, OK.  Colston trained Josie himself and went through Rally classes in preparation for competition.
  Colston finished CH Buzzards Boss Hogg Blue April 12th at Grove, OK and took 3 point and 5 point majors in Wichita, KS with Buzzards Sheza American Rose April 4th and 6th.  In Juniors, Colston and Buzzards Pride At Skyview took 3rd place in Open Intermediate Junior Showmanship on March 30th at Claremore, OK, and 2nd place on April 26th and 27th in Open Intermediate at Grove, OK.
• Amelia Brooks:
  Jan. 5, 2008, Land O’ Lakes Kennel Club, Amelia Brooks went BOB with her Special/Junior’s dog, "Lily," CH Hillhaven’s Li’l Shenanigan.
  Jan. 6, 2008, Land O’ Lakes Kennel Club, Amelia Brooks finished a conformation Championship on her Bred By Exhibitor bitch, "Mira," Hillhaven’s Miracles Happen.
